Police casualty in Explosion of Shindand District, Herat

One police man and 2 others were injured in a road bomb Shindand district, southern Herat.

Local officials said in Herat western Afghanistan this explosion happened in Aziz Abad village of Shindand district targeted a police patrol car today morning.

Spokesman of governor, Naqib Arwin said in Herat  this mine has been placed by Taliban insurgents in this area.

He announced the condition of one injured is critical.

Mr.Arwin said also no one has been detained in relation to this incident yet, but police have started investigation about the issue.

Taliban found guilty for placing the mine have not claimed responsibility for it.

Shindand is located in southern Herat and has joint border with insecure Farah province. There have been many road bomb and suicide attacks which organized by Taliban in this district.
