Detainment of 13 Soldiers to Stand Accused of Helping with Taliban in Nimroz Province

Police officials said in Nimruz 13 soldiers arrested in a security base accused of helping armed insurgents of government.
Officials said these soldiers were arrested and known in a security base of Raken village, Khashrod district Nimroz performing their duties while they were going to join Taliban insurgents with their weapons.
Nimruz security commander, Abdul Jabbar Pordeli said one of Taliban commanders has been arrested with 2 weapons and a communication device after arresting 13 soldiers and inspecting them.
He added these soldiers intended to escape from the security base and join Taliban insurgents after contacting the Taliban commander.
Arrested soldiers have been introduced to justice now and they have responsibility to investigate the issue.
Using untrained local forces as policemen because of lack of numbers of trained soldiers by training centers of interior ministry of Afghanistan causes such soldiers to misuse their duties.
It has already been seen some other soldiers to join Taliban in different areas of Afghanistan and some of these soldiers escaped and joined Taliban with police equipments.
