New Violence in Farah

It is said that Taliban insurgents attacked on convoy of a security private company’s cars in Farah, western Afghanistan.
Spokesman of Taliban, Qari Yusuf Ahmadi claimed they carried out the attack in a telephone call which his people killed 4 security soldiers of a security company and fired 4 means of their transportations in an armed ambush attack in Gulestan district of Farah last day.
Meantime, security commander of Farah, Mohammad Faqir Askar says unreliable reports have been received about this issue but he prevents to confirm or reject them.
Ha also added a mission has been sent to Gulestan district to investigate the issue.
Unreliable reports indicate the convoy encounter waiting in ambush of armed insurgents while they were moving from Gulstan district to Farah city.
Security private companies, which are responsible to protect and secure clothes and food convoys of NATO and international organizations, have been targeting many times in different parts of Afghanistan special in Farah province by Taliban raids.
