Taliban Communication Devices Found in Herat

Herat police said it has been successfully found several communication devices belonged to Taliban in Pashtun Pol zone of Herat.
Provincial police chief press said “I-com” communication devices were conveying from south of Herat to Badghis province which they have been found and confiscated by police.
It is said Taliban intended to use these devices in communicating among their armed people during Election Day.
Police spokesman, NoorKhan Nikzad in Herat said Taliban were going to launch some raids in Badghis province by using these communication devices.
He reported one person was arrested to accuse of carrying these communication devices, too.
The detainee is one of Herat residents and he has confessed his guilt.
It is unclear how this person has received and got these advanced communication devices.
Herat police said investigations have been started in order to making this incident clear.
