Explosive Raids Prevent in Western Provinces of Afghanistan
Local officials in western Afghanistan said they succeeded to prevent 6 bombing raids in different areas western Afghanistan.
They also added Taliban insurgents launched these explosions in Farah. Ghor and Herat and they intended to make people horror and fear.
Provincial police chief in Farah, Mohammad Faghir Askar said 3 bombs mounting in Posht Rod district of Farah found and deactivated.
He added these bombs targeted military cars convey. Afghan and coalition forces found and deactivated them.
Bombing in Ghor
Meantime, Ghor officials said 2 bombs deactivated in this province.
Provincial police chief in Ghor, Abdul Baqi Noorestani said 2 rocket rifles which were ready to use for government offices found and prevented launching them in Chaghcheran capital Ghor.
He added when they found these rockets, it was prevented explosion of a bomb in east of Chaghcheran.
Moreover, it is said that police found and deactivated 20 Kg explosive devises placed in 2 steam boilers.
Bombing in Herat
Herat police said they found a bomb placed next to a school in Obe district eastern Herat.
Police added a gallon packed with explosive devises found and deactivated next to Keshmiran School in Obe district of Herat.
It is said noone has been arrested for the bombing in western provinces Afghanistan yet.
All these bombings happen while parliamentary election is going to hold tomorrow.
People concern about these bombings and rising insecurity in the beginning of parliamentary election. But security officials said they are going to supply better security with sending fresh soldiers, and cooperation police, army, border police and coalition forces.
